A prescription-only medicine is placed into the specific muscles that crease your skin when you frown, raise your brows or squint. The purified protein temporarily relaxes those muscles, so the skin above them smooths over the following days while untreated muscles carry on as normal. Dynamic lines, the ones that appear with expression, soften first; treated consistently, this also helps stop them settling in as static lines. The effect builds from around day 3, peaks at 2 weeks and wears off gradually over 3 to 4 months, so we plan maintenance as part of healthy ageing rather than as a one-off procedure.

Every treatment begins with a detailed, face-to-face consultation: you share your concerns and expectations, and we assess how your face moves before mapping out the exact injection points. This is a medical treatment, and new patients always start with a consultation rather than a treatment slot. Some treatments are also not carried out on the same day as that consultation. The session itself takes 15 to 30 minutes depending on the number of areas, with a review 2 weeks later to check your result.

Cosmetic treatment areas include frown lines, forehead lines, crow's feet, bunny lines, a dimpled chin, a downturned mouth and a gummy smile, alongside the brow lift and the lip flip for subtle reshaping without filler. The same prescription approach also treats two medical concerns: jaw clenching and teeth grinding, through jaw slimming and bruxism therapy, and excessive sweating at the underarms, hands or feet. A Nefertiti neck lift, softening the vertical bands of the neck, can be discussed at consultation.

Appointments run Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm, so treatment fits around a working day. All injectable treatments are carried out in CQC-compliant premises (UNTIL), and your nurse remains contactable after treatment if you have questions or concerns.
