LED Light Therapy
LED Light Therapy in Soho is a relaxing, non-invasive treatment that helps calm inflammation, reduce blemishes, improve skin clarity and support your skin's natural renewal, with little to no downtime.
The short answer
What is LED light therapy?
LED Light Therapy uses carefully selected wavelengths of light to encourage your skin's natural renewal processes. Depending on your skin concerns, different wavelengths can be used to reduce inflammation, support healing or target the bacteria linked to blemish-prone skin.
There are no needles and no UV, which is why LED works well both as a course in its own right and as the finishing step after microneedling, peels and facials. Many patients enjoy LED as an opportunity to relax, with treatment taking place in a calm environment while the light works gently on the skin.

Patient journey
What to expect from LED light therapy
Consultation & preparation
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin, or we will cleanse it for you before the light goes anywhere near it. Tell us about any medicines you take, as some increase light sensitivity, and avoid arriving with fresh sunburn.
During treatment
Aftercare
Most patients experience little to no downtime and are able to return to their normal activities immediately after treatment. Carry on with your normal skincare and daily SPF, and keep to your planned session rhythm, because consistency is what makes a course of LED work.

FAQ
LED light therapy
FAQs
How much does LED light therapy cost?
A single session is £40, and a course of 10 is £360, which prices each session at £36. LED is also often added to facials, chemical peels and SkinPen microneedling as a calming, collagen-supporting finish. Klarna and Clearpay are available, and we will recommend an honest number of sessions at consultation.
Who is LED light therapy suitable for?
Most people. LED uses visible and near-infrared light, not UV, so it does not tan or burn the skin, and treatment is painless with no downtime. It suits most skin types and tones. We screen for the exceptions at consultation, including photosensitive conditions and medicines that increase light sensitivity.
Red light or blue light: which one do I need?
Red light supports collagen and calms visible redness, so it suits dull, tired or reactive skin. Blue light targets the bacteria linked to breakouts, so it suits blemish-prone and congested skin. Near-infrared reaches deepest for renewal and recovery. Many plans combine wavelengths across a course, and we will match the light to your skin.
How many LED sessions until I see results?
LED is cumulative, so think in courses rather than one-offs. Skin often looks calmer and brighter after a single session, but the meaningful changes, steadier tone, fewer breakouts, better resilience, build over a course of 10 with regular attendance. Individual results vary, and we review progress as your course goes on.
Can LED be combined with other treatments?
Yes, that is where it shines. LED is a natural finishing step after SkinPen microneedling and chemical peels, calming the skin and supporting recovery, and it layers neatly into facials. Within a bespoke treatment plan it becomes the steady maintenance thread between appointments. We sequence everything at your face-to-face consultation.
