Chemical Peels

A peel solution is applied to cleansed skin for a controlled period, loosening the bonds that hold dead cells at the surface. As those cells shed, the skin responds by producing fresh cells and, at medium depth, new collagen. Superficial peels work within the outermost layer for brightness and smoothness with minimal recovery. Medium peels reach further into the skin to address pigmentation, sun damage and more established texture change, with more visible peeling afterwards.

That decision is made with you at consultation, not from a menu. We assess your skin type, tone, history and concern, then match the solution and depth accordingly: deeper is not automatically better, and darker skin tones in particular benefit from a considered, conservative approach that reduces pigmentation risk. We are trained in treating all skin types and tones safely, and we will tell you plainly if a peel is the wrong tool for your concern.

After a superficial peel, expect mild redness and light flaking for 1 to 3 days: most patients go straight back to their day. After a medium peel, skin is typically red and tight before peeling visibly for around 5 to 7 days, so plan around social commitments. The 30 minute Jalupro Glow peel sits at the gentler end, with minimal downtime for most patients. Whatever the depth, daily SPF afterwards is non-negotiable.
